I'm in Calgary and I've slept about 2 hours total withing a span of over 40 but I wanted to write something to commemorate my arrival and thats what you're reading.
We had a 10 hour layover in Korea but Korean air gave us all complimentary rooms to stay in at a Hyatt Hotel which was amazing. Then we flew over the Pacific for nine hours, crossed the international date line and arrived in Seattle. From there we flew to Calgary. As we flew I watched the vast Rocky's turn into the Kananaskis where I recoginized a hike I did a year ago above a lake, nastalgic. From there I watched the range open into a valley and reveal Canmore followed by a range or two until the praries which eventually revealed Calgary. The whole trip until that point was surreal, I can't even describe the reality of the emotions I felt when I saw the buildings that compose the city that has defined the three independent years of my life.
I'm exsahausted but I'm here, hope to see you soon.
OOoo so you're home...
